Booking and payments
When making a booking through our website booking page, your booking is confirmed
You can also call us to book on 07879 883 939 between the hours of 9am to 8pm 7 days
If you email us, we will endeavour to get back to you within a day. Please note that as we have a very limited number of stays available, the best way to ensure you secure the dates you are after is to use our website booking page.
Once payment is received, we will send you a booking confirmation by email. Please
check this carefully and let us know if anything is incorrect straightaway.
Please note that where a deposit has been paid, the full balance payment will be taken
from the same card used for the deposit payment automatically 6 weeks prior of your
check in date. Please advise us beforehand if you’d prefer to use a different payment
Please note that if the automated balance payment does not successfully go through due
to a problem with your card, we will contact you to arrange an alternative payment. If we
have been unable to take payment after one 3 days of the balance due date, then with
regret, we may cancel your Booking.
Credit and Debit Card payments are processed via Stripe.
VAT is included in the advertised holiday rental price.
We’re really sorry but we don’t accept pets at Nymetwood Treehouses.
Nymetwood Treehouses are non-smoking properties.
Noise and privacy
Please respect the other guests with regards to noise, especially when playing music.
We ask that all music is turned down to a level where is can’t be heard from the track
outside your treehouse after 9pm.
We also ask you to respect the privacy of each treehouse.
We have a strict no-drone policy on our property.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave with, immediate effect, if you do not comply with
these requests. In this event, you will not be eligible for any refund.
If you do have any issues with other guests during your stay, please don’t hesitate in
letting us know.
If you have any special requests (cot/highchair/synthetic bedding), please let us know at
the time of booking or as early as possible before your stay. We will try to meet your individual needs, however, unfortunately, we can’t guarantee this will always be possible
and we will have no liability to you if we are unable to meet your requirements.
In order to preserve the tranquillity of Wolf Woods, we’re sorry to say that we don’t accept
group bookings for parties such as stag or hen. In the event that this type of booking is
made, it is with regret that the booking may be cancelled, and our cancellation policy will
come into effect. Multiple treehouses may be booked for larger family gatherings but
please confirm this before booking, to make sure your booking is permitted.
Please note that except by prior arrangement confirmed in writing, only the number of
persons specified on a booking confirmation may occupy a property. We reserve the right
to refuse admittance or cancel a booking if this condition is not observed, in which case,
our cancellation policy will come into effect.
We appreciate that breakages and accidental damage happens from time-to-time. Please
let us know so that we are able to fix or replace items promptly.
Check-out time is 11am. Please make sure that you keep to this time, as we need time to
make the treehouses lovely for the next guests.
Whilst staying at Nymetwood we expect all our guests to treat the treehouses, us and
other guests with due respect. To ensure that all our guests are able to have a lovely
experience on the land and in our tranquil woods, if any guest behaves inappropriately or improperly, or
illegally, we reserve the right to ask the guest and their party to leave before the end of
the holiday period and/or refuse any future bookings from you. In this event, you will not
be eligible for any refund.
We are not responsible for anything that adversely affects your holiday due to events
which are outside of our control (i.e. that we could not, even with due care, have foreseen
or avoided). Such circumstances include (amongst others) pandemics, war, civil unrest,
industrial action, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, foot
and mouth disease, power cuts. We will endeavour to manage any problems caused as a
result of such an event but shall not be liable to you for any losses caused by such event.
We want all our guests to experience the wilderness of Nymetwood in safety. Therefore,
we ask all visitors to be alert and vigilant to all potential risks.
Given the rough terrain and our wish to leave much of the woods in its natural state, we
recommend that guests should stick to the paths. Please note that these paths are
rough, with many trip & slip hazards.
Please take great care on the track as the gravel can be slippery.
Please accompany children at all times, and take special care near the river, which can
be very fast flowing when in flood.
We strongly advise that guests should not go into the woodlands during high winds.
As Nymetwood Treehouses are located in a woodland environment, we cannot accept
responsibility for any damage, injury or inconvenience caused by the terrain, plants or
Looking after the Woods
It is our overriding priority to preserve this precious environment.
From time to time, we will need to carry out work within the woods, including coppicing, tree felling and path maintenance. We will make every effort to minimise any disruption
this may cause to guests.
Please take extra care not to leave any litter or food waste in the woods. Only use the fire
bowls provided and if you are using a barbecue only use within the firepit area.
Please extinguish fires and barbecues after use, especially
during extended periods of dry weather.
Cancellation and Amendment by You
We will always try our best to accommodate amendments to your booking and minimise
the cost of cancellations. Please inform us by email at the earliest opportunity of any
cancellation or amendment request.
Unfortunately, all deposits are non-refundable on cancellations.
If you have paid in full and let us know of your cancellation 6 weeks or more before your
stay, we will refund the balance less the deposit.
If you need to cancel your booking, we will attempt to re-let your booking. If successful,
we will refund the balance paid, less deposit and any costs incurred by us.
We will also try to fulfil alteration requests to your booking but this will be subject to
availability and additional charges may be payable. If we are unable to agree a suitable
alteration, we will have to treat it as a cancellation.
Please note that although we will always try to minimise your loss in the event of an
alteration or cancellation, we have no obligation to refund any money paid if this occurs
6 weeks or less from your check-in date, and all deposits are non-refundable.
Therefore, we recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance.
Cancellation and Amendment by us
In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary for us to cancel or amend your
booking. If this is the case, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and will
liaise with you to see if we can re-schedule your booking. If no agreeable alternative date
is available, we will refund you in full for any monies paid to us. Unfortunately, we can
accept no further liabilities.
Information & Accuracy
The information and prices shown on this website are amended from time to time and
may change between the time you first view a property and make a booking.
You should check that all the details are as you expect prior to making a booking. It is
always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the properties (including the
features and extras available) may be incorrectly described and/or priced. If we discover
this is the case after you have made a booking, we reserve the right to contact you with
details of the correct information and/or pricing and will give you the option to:
(1) proceed with the booking based on the correct information and/or pricing, which may
require the payment of an additional amount by you;
(2) subject to availability, change your booking dates to dates when the pricing can be
honoured and so no additional charge to you. In the event that a lower price can be
offered for alternative dates then the difference would be refunded;
(3) cancel the booking. If we do not receive your instructions within 5 days of contacting
you, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without liability to you.
